Christmas Cookie Recipes
Gaining Weight During the Holidays
My take on it is that there is nothing wrong with that. Go ahead, stuff yourself, after all, it is called stuffing. Eat two, or three, or even four helpings of dessert, that is why desserts are made so tasty.
To heck with all these people advising you to not eat and to limit yourself. After all, they are called holidays for a reason, the reason being to celebrate. What could be more celebratory than having a great meal with some friends?
And speaking of a good meal, what could be better than extra-chocolaty treats like these:
Hidden Treasures
Makes about 48 (24 if you make them doublesized)
2/3 cup Butter Flavor or Golden Crisco3/4 cup sugar1 egg1 tablespoon milk1 teaspoon vanilla1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon baking soda48 maraschino cherries, well drained on paper towels
White dipping chocolate:
1 cup white melting chocolate, cut in small pieces
2 tablespoons Butter flavor or Golden Crisco
Dark dipping chocolate:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons Butter flavor or Golden Crisco
finely chopped pecans
slivered white chocolate
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cream Crisco, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl until wellblended. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed. Divide into 48 equal pieces. Press dough into very thin layer around well-drained cherries. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes. Cool 1 minute on baking sheet. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
For dipping chocolate: place chocolate of choice and Crisco in glass measuring cup.Microwave at 50%. Stir after 1 minute. Repeat until smooth. Or, melt over double boiler.Drop one cookie at a time into chocolate. Use fork to turn over. Cover completely withchocolate. Lift cookie out of chocolate with fork. Allow excess to drip off.If the chocolate becomes too firm, reheat. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheet.Sprinkle chopped pecans on top of white chocolate cookiesbefore the chocolate sets. Sprinkle white chocolate on dark chocolate cookies beforechocolate sets. Chill in refrigerator to set chocolate.
Enjoy and forget the guilt. Make them several times and share with friends.

XML button added to The Chocolate Doctor
Alrite, I also did the same for The Chocolate Doctor website, just forgot to put it in my last post. Again, the place to do your xml button automatically was at www.rorweb.com
ROR Sitemap Additon to The Seven Of Us
Ok, not to be too technical, but I just added an info button to The Seven of Us so that the search engines can more easier find it, for more info on xml and ror I suggest going to http://www.rorweb.com/. There are also all kinds of other sitemap programs out there, but this one was really really easy.

Instant List Builder
Want a list of thousands ... by next Monday?
TO: All Members of the 100 Grand A Month Club
In a hurry? No problem, go straight here: http://www.yourluckylist.com/index.php/writingzen
I just got an e-mail heads up about a great site that will be making a HUGE IMPACT on the internet marketing industry.
I get a ton of email, but list-building is one of the things I am struggling with, so I checked out the site for myself at:
http://www.yourluckylist.com/index.php/writingzen
As soon as I landed on the page I thought, "This site is looks like it has the answers to all my newbie questions."
Then I began to wonder how much it was going to cost me to get in on this Viral marketing system and how my wife was going to take me spending the money. So, I read through the page and couldn't believe when I read that it was totally Fr-ee for the beginning system.
Basically, the marketers who designed The List Machine (Gary and Jennifer Ambrose, and Donald Rowell), have set-up a complete system to build a 100% opt-in list for each and every one of us and we don't need to pay them a single penny to do it!
Imagine having 1,000, 5,000, or 50,000 opt-in prospects to mail to once, twice, even three times a week!
These people are ready to hear your offer today. In fact, they have asked to hear it!
After a few minutes of seriously thinking it over, I signed up and I'm already getting leads in my matrix. The system is so simple to use, and it's fr-ee. Need I say more?
http://www.yourluckylist.com/index.php/writingzen

P.S. How many times have you wished for a list of your own? Well, here it is!
P.P.S. Once you sign-up for free, keep your eyes open for the "One Time Only Offer." It is absolutely incredible, but it only appears on your screen once and there isn't a way to get back to it...

Palmeiro on the Juice
Rafael Palmeiro and the secret behind his suspension.
Finally, the secret behind Rafael Palmeiro's suspension can be revealed.
Yes, he was on the juice.
The Juicy Juice, to be exact.
As an avid baseball fan, I wondered what could be the problem with Palmeiro, why would he screw up his career by doing illegal steroids.
I was sure that eventually the truth would come out, but little did I know it would be me who discovered it.
A few weeks back, I heard this terrible crash coming from my closet.
When I went in, I saw that all my card cases were turned over and in disarray, and noticed all my Palmeiro cards were gone.
Shocked and upset, I decided to go get myself a snack, maybe something like a pierogi or a grilled cheese sandwich.
It was at that point when I went into the kitchen of my Golden Palace that I noticed the refrigerator door was open, and what did I see but my Palmeiro cards on the juice.

Coolest Man in the Universe
I thought I would try something to see how hard it would be to rank as the coolest man in the universe. Also as the coolest man in the universe with this link. Also just as the coolest man, or as the coolest man.
So, in a couple days I will check the stats and see what happens, if any, and report back.

Google Sitemaps
I think I figured out the whole Google Sitemap thing for my website, http://www.writingzen.com/merchandise
Hopefully, by submitting this format http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=http://www.writingzen.com/sitemap.xml to google, they should crawl my site and then I can check to see if they index it at all.
Don't you wish they would make things easier?

Swords, Daggers, Displays
Well, I went and bought myself a sword store, it is located at http://www.yourswords.com/.
I only have a limited amount of product, but will slowly add more swords, daggers, weapons, and displays to it so that eventually it will literally have 100's of items, and then we shall see.

Increased Sales
Sales can be increased in a variety of ways. You can generate a list to make sure your prospects are reminded that you exist and have product to help them out. You can do a joint venture with other marketers in order to get your site seen by their lists. You can create a blog and generate a rapport with the people who visit.
With that in mind here are the direct links to some products I offer:

Buying From The Web
Buying from the web is a multibillion dollar business. Many major companies such as Overstock, Fingerhut, Dell, WalMart, Circuit City, and others do a brisk business selling items online. And has anybody ever heard of Amazon or Ebay? These companies do all of their business online, and look at their marketplace status today, everybody who has ever been on the web knows who they are.
Not only are these companies doing a brisk business online, but there is unlimited opportunity for growth. Buy products online yourself and see how much cheaper it is sometimes than to have to go to several different stores and do price comparisons, when on the web it can all be done at once. Or start a business and see how much money you have to spend in startup costs, whereas if you have an idea you can sell it online by writing an ebook and then marketing it to others simply and efficiently.

I plan through the links on my website to enable you to:
- buy items needed for your endeavors, such as creative writing to increase knowledge
- ebook creation to benefit from your increased knowledge and gain sales
- items for your home, because everybody needs to have a healthy environment without spending an arm and a leg
- items to increase your education, so that you can be a more well rounded person

Well, here goes nothing
I have now started an offshoot to my main writing website, the link is:
http://www.writingzen.com/Creative_Writing.htm
We will see if I can draw any traffic or not to it, although everybody needs a little help with creativity sometimes. I get a lot of my inspiration from my kids, such as when I ask them why they did something and rather than tell the truth they get really creative if they think a punishment is forthcoming. Wish me luck!

A Week Gone By
Tracy's Thoughts
Ok, so a week has gone by, let's see, my wife started school, one kid was sick and at home Friday, and one was sick and at home today. We bought a new computer, and our daughter Dori is at a spelling bee today, which unfortunately I am missing due to the sick kid today. Other than that, just a normal life, although I am in the middle of researching homeschooling right now.

End of Day
Well, the end of the day is here, all kids home and accounted for, today was a pretty long day, it was my wife's first full day of school and I spent most of the day running one of our daughters over to a private school for a tryout. She claims she likes it, now we have to figure out if they do accept her how to pay for tuition...
First Day
So, today is the first day of my blog. As introduction, my name is Tracy Robinson, I am married and have 5 children, and am a stay at home dad while my wife is currently going to college for her Bachelors in Nursing.
